Yves Le Corre is Principal consultant within the Public Services Solution group at CGI. He is responsible for the ASP Healthcare SAP solution for the following logistics modules: Material Management (MM), Suppliers relationship management (SRM) and Maintenance (PM). He has also experience in support and implementation of the production and material management modules. He is certified by SAP for the modules PM (1998) and MM (2001). He worked many years at the STM (Société de transport de Montréal), he has evaluated many commercial maintenance software packages for the Montreal metro system. He chose SAP as the best integrated software for the whole business. Its maintenance module is the most extensive. An alternate product evaluated was MAXIMO. It is the most popular and is recognized for its user friendliness.
Having directed a reliability study of rolling stock control systems, he has a professional interest in the maintenance and reliability management of in service equipment. He has developed an approach to make the best use of SAP to manage reliability and to analyse failures.
Mr. Le Corre is an industrial engineer and holds an M.B.A. He has been President of the Montreal Chapter of the Society of Reliability Engineers, he is also member of the OIQ.
Improving operations management with the use of information technology is his main career orientation. He has 30 years of experience in operations support including 10 years with SAP and 15 years in maintenance. He has directed support groups in production and maintenance; he has been management consultant in operations management. He has managed the information systems of the Montreal metro system and designed their maintenance management system, he worked at implementing the production, maintenance and materials management modules.
